We handle real estate and corporate matters for the Board of Managers of several cooperative and condominium buildings in both upper and lower Manhattan. This representation includes, but is not limited to: the refinancing of underlying mortgages, transfers of individual units, updating of by-laws and proprietary leases, drafting renovation/alteration agreements, reviewing and negotiating trade contracts and assisting in shareholder/owner dispute resolution. We have expertise in all aspects of building management and finance.
In addition, the Law Office of George L. Olsen is counsel to several NYC area developers and represents them in all aspects of the development process, including the due diligence phase, negotiating the acquisition of a property, reviewing title matters, advising them in negotiations with and drafting agreements for development professionals, such as architects, mechanical and structural engineers, land use counsel and general contractors. The firm also assists its clients in obtaining acquisition and construction financing, negotiating loan documents and closing such loans. The Law Office of George L. Olsen also assists its development clients with the condominium offering plans, all aspects of marketing plans, the closings of individual units as well as coordinating all post-closing matters.
For disputes requiring litigation, our office is affiliated with firms specializing in diverse areas of litigation. We personally coordinate all litigation matters for our clients, so that they only have to interface with our office.
